Fox News Anchors and Contributors Are Selling Books, Books and More Books!

Wow, is there something in the air at Fox News? It seems like everyday another anchor or contributor is releasing another book. Recently it appears they have kicked it into over-drive.

Bill O'Reilly had produced an awesome TV series called " Legends and Lies" which was a series of 10 weekly, hour long shows sharing the truth about the heroes and villains of the west. It was a great series and he had a book that went along with it :

"Legends and Lies:The Real West"

After Bill O'Reilly, next up to bat was Dana Perino. Former Press Secretary for President George W Bush and currently, one of the hosts on "The Five" on Fox News. Her book quickly shot to the #1 spot on the New York's Best Seller's List, in a much deserved spot. This book will take you on a exciting journey with her warm, heartfelt, proud, and at times, sad journey through her life and her days in the White House. Her humor is uplifting and gives the reader hope for our country. This is a well written, peak behind the curtain.

"And the Good News Is...: Lessons and Advice from the Bright Side"

Kimberly Guilfoyle jumped in the mix with a new book as well. Kimberly Guilfoyle is a co-host with Dana Perino on "The Five" on Fox News. In her book, Kimberly shares with the readers a glimpse into her private life. The articulate yet bubbly, vivacious, Irish-Latino, talks about the loss of her mother from Leukemia when she was a child and being raised by her loving father who passed away just a few years ago. He taught her to push and drive yourself to reach your goals. This drive and passion pushed her through law school, to the courtroom, then to being the First Lady Of San Francisco, then on to her TV career, to being a mother and now to being the co-host of one of Fox New's top shows. Kimberly gives the reader advice and encouragement to focus on your goals and you will achieve it.

" Making the Case: How to Advocate for Yourself in Work and Life"

Gretchen Carlson's positive book teaches the reader about her determination and discipline as the 2 main principles that guided her through her life's path. Gretchen talks about her values, her faith and her love of country as her guiding light. A violin prodigy, Miss America and a Stanford graduate to now, a news anchor of her own show " The Real Story", Gretchen humbly tells us that " if a chubby kid from Wisconsin can do it, so can you".

"Getting Real"

Next in the line-up is Ann Coulter. She sheds light on what she feels is the biggest treat to the United States today. Ann provides the reader with facts and the data on illegal immigration policies and their real effects to the American people and this information will not be found in the main stream media. Agree with her or disagree with Ann Coulter, but this book should be a "must read" before we vote in the 2016 election.

Fox News- Megyn Kelly, Elizabeth Hasselbeck & Gretchen Carlson Are Always Taking Vacation

Fox News seems to play favorites when it comes to their anchors.

If you remember when Gretchen was on Fox and Friends, she was always taking days off. It seemed like she was off at least once a week and then would take long stretches off.

Even when Gretchen was moving from Fox and Friends, she took a couple months off in between the transition. She might have had to take the time off for healing after plastic surgery. She did appear looking very fresh and "surprised".

Now that Gretchen has her own show, she doesn't take off quite as much. But the shouting liberal, Megyn Kelly and the squeaky mouse, Elizabeth Hasslebeck are off again.

I'm not complaining because Anna Kooiman always fills in for Hasslebeck and that is a pleasure to see/hear her in the AM vs Hasslebeck's annoying voice and to have to sit through those animated facial expressions of Elizabeth's.

When the shouting liberal, Megyn Kelly is vacationing, Martha MacCullum fills in. I wish she would be the one that fills that seat every night. She does a much better job and doesn't have to scream and interrupt her guests like Megyn Kelly does. But Fox wants their liberal anchors like Shephard Smith, Megyn Kelly, Bob Beckel, Greta Van Susteren, etc.

One things for sure, no one can say Fox News is Sexist. They have the majority of their anchors and hosts are women and the women and then there are the select few women who get to play their games and take off as much work as they can.

Whether is it for plastic surgery healing or just because they are being pampered, Fox News absolutely lets the women anchors have benefits that the men do not have.

Fox News Gretchen Carlson high school graduation picture. We can see this is before her nose job. Her mouth is still crooked but her nose now is noticeable much thinner and her hair is blonder now than it was back then.

Other than the nose job and filler and botox and probably a mini face lift, I don't think she has had any other plastic surgery. But then again, I could be wrong.

Trivia About Fox New's Gretchen Carlson~ Did You Know.......

Gretchen Carlson's husband, Casey Close is a sports agent. A little unknown fact is that one of the ways they keep their marriage working is that they teach Sunday school together. Gretchen Carlson says that is the one way they bring their morals and values together and do it together as a team. She also said that it is one place they know that they will get to see each other for the one hour while they are teaching Sunday school.

Fox News Roger Ailes Thoughts On Gretchen Carlson

It has been said that Roger Ailes is a sexist and that may or may not be true, but what is true is that he is a genius because he as built Fox News from the ground up.

Is he the one reason most of the anchors are blonde women? Is he the reason why certain women sit behind glass desks? Is he the reason Kimberly Guilfoyle's main job these days is wiggling and giggling in an end chair, swinging her leg as she flirts with Bob?

Something tells me that he has his hand in all those decisions.

It was Gretchen Carlson that said : "pants were not allowed on Fox & Friends."

When one Anchor tried to wear a pantsuit, Ailes said :

"I Did Not Spend X-Number Of Dollars On A Glass Desk For Her To Wear Pant Suits"

So what did Ailes say Gretchen Carlson was Miss America? Well, once when he was in a conversation with a friend Ailes has pointeded out she was once Miss America, then added, "It must not have been a good year."

This is an oldie but a goodie. Gretchen Carlson was still on the curvy couch at the time and she gets caught adjusting her clothes. Maybe she was thinking no one was looking! The video goes into slow motion so you will see it again.

Sounding off.......

Fox News made the decision a few months back to replace the 47 yr old, violin playing, beauty queen with the 36 yr old reality show star with the Minnie Mouse voiced, Elizabeth Hasslebeck.

Gretchen Carlson was annoying but she took so much time off of work that her annoyance wasn't a big factor. I was more annoyed with her constant taking time off from work while the other 2 male hosts rarely took a day off yet she was the very one who would always be picking a fight with her co-hosts about equality for women.

Fox rewarded her with her own show. Now somehow she manages to get to work everyday. Funny how that works.

Since Gretchen Carlson has her own show, we have to deal with Hasslebeck. Her high pitched, squeaky voice and her animated facial expressions are a constant annoyance and makes me find more and more excuses to leave the room rather than sit through a segment with her doing an interview. She comes across as really fake. I just can't see how long she will be sitting on the curvy couch.

Hasslebeck wears skirts that barely cover her lady parts, which is another reason she probably was given the job. Fox seems to put sex appeal at the top of their requirements for a position. (no pun intended)

Gretchen Carlson from Fox News Channel takes off work Again!

Fox News Channel Gretchen Carlson is only 1 week into her new show "The Real Story With Gretchen Carlson" and she has already taken a day off work. Today Martha was already standing in for Gretchen .

When Gretchen was on Fox and Friends, she was off all the time. She would be off at least one day a week. She got more time off then Brian and Steve combined.

When she was promoted to her own show, we were all shocked because she really should have been let go since she obviously has other important things to take care of. For some reason, Fox executives gave her her own show. Between her gig at Fox and Friends and her start of her new show, she was off for weeks. She got all her plastic surgery and we thought she would at least try to make it a month before she started taking off all the time.

I guess 5 days of doing the show was too exhausting for her. We will have to stay tuned to see if she will grace us with her
presence tomorrow.
